Christmas Music

I'm going to officially start listening to Christmas music today. I love Christmas music and it's the one thing that I don't feel like we hurry about the Christmas season. Decorations - too early, Christmas trees up in November - too early, Santa in November - too early (he's at Harrods now - and you can make an appointment to see him. Don't even think you can just show up and see him, it'll never happen.) But is it ever too early for Christmas music? When do the holiday sounds start appearing around your home?

I watched our Christmas video from when I was two today. It does kind of put you in the holiday spirit. The thing that ruins that wonderful spirit, however, is school. I am not enjoying this stretch.

When we lived in Brazil, Christmas started appearing very early. I think because they don't celebrate Thanksgiving, they don't have a natural starting point. Here in Omaha, several homes have hired companies to put up lights on their homes already! You must get a discount if you do it before Thanksgiving. It is all a little intimidating to me. Music is definitely my favorite part also!
