Thanksgiving Week

We have a family of 7 coming to stay with us this week to help us celebrate our American roots! I will post pictures this week as time permits. We are going to a play or two, Canterbury, and are making a trip to Birmingham which boasts the best "German Christmas Market" outside of Germany. Because there are so many of us this year for Thanksgiving (there is another family here from Florida also) we are going to a restaurant for dinner on Thursday afternoon. Jeff kind of bawked at this idea but I promised him is own little turkey for leftovers. I really miss having room for big get togethers. But we'll make do! I better go change those sheets!

Happy Turkey Day Suze! We are heading out Wednesday morning for AZ for 5 days, so internet time will be scarce until Monday. Have a great time. Let no one take showers and start your laundry now, before anything is even dirty.

I wish you were here too sweetie! It's just not the same without you. Yesterday we went to the Wildlife Photog Exhibit and the Natural History Museum and out for crepes! Katie is big into photography this year and is seriously considering it as a full-time profession - when the time comes. Today we are off to Canterbury.

Your thanksgiving sounds very British. We hope you will enjoy it. It turned very cold here but still no snow. My orange salad turned out to be one of the best yet. I will tackle making carrot pudding next. To bad it is only Barb and me that like it. love you guys. Mom
